About
Malgorzata Hanzl Ph.D, is an Assistant Professor in the Institute of Architecture and Town Planning of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, Architecture and Environmental Engineering, Technical University of Lodz and in the International Faculty of Engineering. She gives lectures in the Faculty of Architecture, Warsaw University of Technology for the students of Architecture for the Society of Knowledge MArch course as well.
She holds a Ms.A in Architecture from Technical University of Lodz. She prepared her TPFE in Ecole d'Architecture de Lyon, France. She holds a Ph.D in Architecture from Technical University of Lodz, Poland. She is an author of over 30 publications.
She is an active urban planning professional, a member of Polish Urban Planning Chamber (OiU in Warsaw Nr 360).
Dr. Malgorzata Hanzl's main research interests include public participation in the urban planning, including use of IT for the purpose, contemporary urban planning theory and practise, environmental sociology, urban design and planning, urban planning history and anthropology of urbanisation.
Dr. Hanzl is interested in finding research partners in related areas to create a network for interdisciplinary research collaboration.
